Psychological treatment or counseling can be helpful when we are facing various life stresses, transitions and changes, relationship issues, losses, traumatic events, interpersonal trauma, health issues as well as psychological conditions, such as depressed mood, phobias, and other conditions. Sometimes we have a major life decision ahead and would find it helpful to explore the pros and cons with a professional.
People may feel apprehensive about talking to someone they don't know; however, concerns tend to fade when there is a good fit between client and therapist. Many people find that psychological treatment is helpful for making positive changes and reducing distress. We offer a variety of quality and ethical psychological and counseling services, suited to your individual needs.We offer evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as some alternative approaches for persons who request them.
Our clinic is staffed by two Registered Psychologists, Registered Counsellors (including a registered play therapist and a certified music therapist) and a part-time Clinic Assistant.
We conduct diagnostic assessments, cognitive assessments, trauma assessments, ability to work or return to work assessments, medical-legal assessments, and empirically validated treatment for adults, couples, families, children and youth).
We are located in central Richmond, very close to bus lines and the skytrain with easy access from Vancouver and surrounding areas. We are within walking distance of Richmond Centre Mall and Lansdowne Mall. There is free, onsite underground parking available.
